Dean of Academics - Applications Open

Queensland Football School is seeking applications for the position of Dean of Academics. 

Queensland Football School is a new independent, non-denominational, co-educational school opening in January 2020 on the Gold Coast. The school, as the name suggests, is for students who play football (soccer) at an elite level and wish to pursue a career in football, whilst still achieving their academic goals. 

The Dean of Academics at Queensland Football School will be responsible for curriculum development across the school which incorporates years 4 to 12. The Dean will work with elite-level athletes to produce adjusted learning programmes to suit a heavy training schedule and absence due to national and international competitions. The Dean will be responsible for a team of around 10 teaching staff and will oversee the academic performance of 225 students. 

The Dean will lead staff meetings and professional development within the school alongside the CEO. 

Previous experience in a similar curriculum development role is desirable.
